Even if two points were dropped this Saturday against Le Havre, Luis Enrique believes that his PSG team already has the title in their pocket.
PSG failed in its task this Saturday during the reception of Le Havre. While a victory would have assured them the title of champion, the team from the capital could not do better than a draw (2-2). Without an equalizer from Gonçalo Ramos in the 95theshe would even have bowed.
Because of this result, Paris could still wait two weeks before celebrating its coronation. But, for Luis Enrique, his coach, this is not a problem. The Spanish technician knows that the championship is already over. “We can say that we are almost champions. We can say it, even if mathematically it is not done,” he confided on Canal+ after the game.

Concerning the performance of his flock, Luis Enrique tried to retain the best: “Did I enjoy myself?” I have a lot of feelings after this kind of match. A lot has happened. We conceded 3 goals against a team which was very efficient. But we got back into the match. The supporters appreciated this type of performance. We made a few mistakes but we had a lot of chances. And we finished the match well.”
The Asturian coach also praised his team’s ability to never give up. “It’s very important when a coach is able to transmit his strength, the desire to fight and never give up. We will try to finish the season in the best possible way.”
Finally, before leaving, Luis Enrique spoke about the big meeting next week: “ Dortmund? We are prepared to win both matches.”
