The president of PSG did not appreciate that his club was missing out on great talents from the Paris region.

It’s a fact: Paris and its region are full of talent. However, PSG had difficulty retaining or attracting some of them. This greatly displeases the boss of the Rouge et Bleu, Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, who is doing everything possible to remedy it.

According to information published this Friday by the newspaper The Team“NAK” would not have at all appreciated the fact that Mathys Tel, trained in Rennes before joining Bayern Munich last summer, passed through the radar of PSG recruiters, while the promising 18-year-old striker was evolving near Montrouge (Hauts-de-Seine).

NAK wanted to keep Nkunku

Nasser Al-Khelaifi was also reportedly unhappy with Christopher Nkunku’s departure to Leipzig in 2019. “He believes that everything should have been done to keep him and give him a place of choice in the Parisian squad”advances the sports daily.

Therefore, those responsible for training the reigning French champions must now be accountable to their president when a player from Île-de-France slips through their fingers. The Qatari leader, however, is delighted with Luis Enrique’s management of the club’s young talents. A major asset for attracting or retaining the best people in the region.
