The women’s and men’s youth teams are now grouped together in these new premises, but everything is not going as planned. In addition to certain failures in the buildings linked to recent work (collapse of ceilings, water leaks, lack of heating, etc.), it is mainly the management and supervision problems which are criticized by the players’ families. According to RMC Sportall the tensions revolve around the new head of the education part: Mehdi Rahoui.
Internally, some employees do not understand the arrival of this former CPE (senior education advisor): “we especially wonder how Mehdi Rahoui arrived at the head of this education sector of PSG, he does not have the profile at all”, “we have the impression that if the person does not fit into their plans, they are immediately discarded” reports RMC Sport, citing several sources. The teachers are leading the charge. Daniel Riolo talks about tyrannical methods taking the example of Ethan Mbappé and Zaire-Emery’s English teacher who “was fired on the spot because she dared to ask a question he considered inappropriate”. The consultant also talks about cases of harassment: “There was one who was martyred. His fingers were stuck in the door, his things were thrown at him. An internal investigation into harassment was requested from the Social and Economic Committee (CSE) of PSG.
