Even if Manchester United finally snatched their ticket against Coventry in the FA Cup semi-final, the Red Devils were targeted by public opinion because of this football sludge against the Championship team. Leading by three goals, the Mancunians were finally hanging on until the penalty shootout. A scenario which inevitably tightened the noose around Erik Ten Hag.

Criticized on the other side of the Channel, the Batavian technician had a funny response to some of his detractors this Friday at a press conference. Indeed, greatly singled out by certain English media, Ten Hag simply banned three newspapers from asking questions after criticizing the disrespectful nature of their production following the match against Coventry. Thus, journalists from the Sun, the Manchester Evening News and the Mirror did not have answers to their questions before the match against Burnley.
