Marcel Desailly, former teammate of Zidane in Blue, thinks that Bayern must carry out a real restructuring to put the three-time European champion coach at its technical helm. In an interview with Sport1, the 98 world champion confided: “Bayern has few players who adapt to Zidane’s philosophy and his 4-3-3. The club should spend a lot of money to repair the team and adapt it to their needs.”
“But why not do it? If Bayern really want a radical change, this is the chance or never,” added the former defender.
Desailly also spoke about Kingsley Coman and his possible recovery ahead of this summer’s European Championships: “It will be difficult for him to be present at the Euro. But after his injury, he must improve physically and find his way and the role that suits him best. The former Parisian suffered a serious adductor injury two weeks ago and he should be out for several weeks.
