After yet another defeat in the Bundesliga at the end of February, the leaders of Bayern Munich and Thomas Tuchel decided to end their collaboration for one ” agreement “ a year earlier than expected. The former PSG coach will therefore have to leave his position at the end of the season. Meanwhile, last season’s Bundesliga champions lost their title to Bayer Leverkusen. The Bavarians also qualified for the semi-finals of the Champions League, which gave ideas to some of Bayern’s supporters. A petition titled “we want Juppel (Tuchel) and not (Ralf) Rangnick!” progress on Change.org.

“FC Bayern decided to fire Thomas Tuchel this summer after the defeat against VFL Bochum. What an atrocious decision! Despite the negative media coverage he received and the personnel situation of the Munich team plagued by injuries, the man who has already won the Champions League led his team to the C1 semi-final. With all due respect to candidates like Emery or Rangnick, these coaches are no match for “Juppel” (…). As FC Bayern fans, we want to emphasize that Thomas Tuchel is the man for the job and that he must be retained! This is why we are launching this petition, in the hope of attracting the attention of the media and, above all, the leaders of the FCB! We want Juppel and no one else! » proclaimed a number of Bavarian supporters. Launched on April 22, 2024, it has already collected nearly 12,000 signatures.
