Images of PSG’s away jersey for next season have leaked and, as expected, it will give the Parisians a vintage look.

It’s a historic season that PSG could soon complete. Almost assured of winning the twelfth French championship title in its history, while it is 11 points ahead of Monaco before its trip to Lorient on Wednesday evening, the capital club is still in the race for a fabulous quadruple.

In addition to Ligue 1 and the Champions Trophy, won in January at the expense of Toulouse, the Rouge et Bleu are still involved in the Champions League, where they have a meeting with Borussia Dortmund in the semi-final, and the Coupe de France, where they will play the final against Olympique Lyonnais on May 25.

The Eiffel Tower in the spotlight

So the planets seem aligned to make 2024 the year of Paris, which will also host the Olympic Games this summer. To mark the occasion, Nike has decided to give PSG a vintage look next season. With a blue home jersey which will feature the famous red Hechter strip, and an away jersey which is also retro.

The specialized site Footy Headlines has revealed new photos of this future “away” tunic, which confirm the first photos circulating on the Web for several weeks. As expected, it is in white that Luis Enrique’s players will play outside, wearing a drawing of the Eiffel Tower on their chests, in blue and red.

A release planned for July

This design will remind the oldest followers of French football of the away jersey of Paris Saint-Germain during the 1990-1991 season, which was then helmed by sponsors RTL and Alain Afflelou. The blue and red colors will also be featured on the “Swoosh” and the sleeves. The official release is scheduled for July. Before the Olympics.
