Paris Saint-Germain could collect their 12th French championship title this Wednesday.

Parisian supporters have gotten into the habit of vibrating on weekday evenings. This Wednesday, it is not a big European match that awaits the capital club, but a Ligue 1 meeting which could allow it to make history on the national scene.

Luis Enrique’s team is traveling to Lorient for a late match counting for the 29th day of Ligue 1. A meeting which had been postponed by the Professional Football League following its double confrontation against FC Barcelona in the quarter Champions League final.

The scenario which offers the title to PSG this Wednesday evening

This trip to Brittany could be synonymous with a coronation for Paris Saint-Germain. In view of the accounting situation, a specific scenario would allow the Parisians to be crowned champions of France from this Wednesday: a success on the Lorient pitch early in the evening, before seeing Lille take on Monaco a little later in the evening ( 21 hours).

With 11 points ahead of ASM, PSG could no longer be caught up by the Principality club if they did not win against Lille in a highly anticipated top-of-the-table clash. But to watch this duel with impatience, the Parisians will have to do the work in Lorient… “ What interests me is not when we win the Championshipexplained Luis Enrique. It doesn’t matter when we win the Championship, we deserved it. So what is important is how we play, how we are going to win it. That’s our goal. This does not only apply to the match in Lorient tomorrow (Wednesday). But for all the matches we have left to play. There are still eight matches remaining and we hope to play a ninth. We want to make the same commitment every time. There is still work to do. »
