This time, Olympique de Marseille no longer has a joker. Three days after a draw in Toulouse (2-2), the Marseille club is back at it again with the reception of OGC Nice, for a highly anticipated meeting classified as high risk in terms of security.
A match that OM is still approaching with a shower of injuries. Valentin Rongier, Bilal Nadir, Simon Ngapandouetnbu, Bamo Méïté and Quentin Merlin will all be missed. A long one to which were added the names of Chancel Mbemba and Ismaïla Sarr (too accurate). “ Who is available? Claus, yes. Harit, yes. Mbemba no, Sarr, no. Clauss established for his return?
Will the OM coach take the risk of fielding Jonathan Clauss from the start? This hypothesis cannot be ruled out, as Gasset has had to tinker with this right-back position in recent weeks. The other major surprise concerns the attack. If Aubemayang is expected up front, the identity of the two other offensive players remains unclear. Luis Henrique and Ndiaye could support the Gabonese.
In the midfield, Veretout and Kondogbia are expected to continue, while Harit should therefore be able to hold his place. Lopez will start in goal after a very mixed week on a personal level.
