Luis Enrique spoke about Paris Saint-Germain’s chances of winning the quadruple this season.
PSG, which is 11 points ahead at the top of the Ligue 1 standings, could win the title on Wednesday if it beats Lorient and if Monaco loses points against Lille. He won the French Super Cup in January and reached the final of the Coupe de France and the quarter-finals of the Champions League.
Ile-de-France coach Luis Enrique opened up about the possibility of his team winning the quadruple and admitted that achieving this historic feat was a major motivation for his players in the dressing room at the end of the season.

Speaking to reporters, Luis Enrique said: “ The quadruplet? Of course we talk about it. It’s motivation. It’s a way of writing the history of the club and the city. But the most important thing is not what we win, but how we win, how we play. We have eight matches left, I hope nine, and we will put the same commitment into each of them. »
“It motivates us. For the moment, we only have one title (the French Super Cup). We must win the championship and continue to fight in Ligue 1 to respect the other clubs. Afterwards, there will be the Coupe de France final against Lyon (May 25), a special match. The road is long and winding. We will have to be very focused on this end of the season. »
The Parisians will face Lorient and Le Havre in their next two Ligue 1 matches, on Tuesday and Saturday respectively, before hosting Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League semi-final first leg on May 1.
