At 37, at the end of his contract at AC Milan, Olivier Giroud will join Los Angeles FC this summer to play with his friend Hugo Lloris. The French international, who will play in Euro 2024, is expected on August 1 with the Californian MLS team.

The 2018 world champion will leave AC Milan at the end of his contract, on June 30, and his farewell to European football, at the age of 37, after notably winning the Champions League and the Europa League with Chelsea, Serie A with the Rossoneri and Ligue 1 with Montpellier.

Giroud will change his life and join Hugo Lloris, his teammate and captain of the France team for eleven years. The two players have been very close for many years, they lived in the same area of ​​the London area. Their families like each other and will meet in the middle of the Californian megalopolis. The club’s training center, at California State University, is close to Downtown LA.

No Olympics for Giroud
