Like every year at this time, the DNCG publishes its complete report for the previous season, 2022/2023 in this case. A first observation is necessary. The figures are not good, as has already been the case in recent years, but are still moving in the right direction. After losing €582 million in 2021/2022, Ligue 1 clubs have this time accumulated losses of €273 million. If we zoom out a little, we also see that OL (-€99M) and PSG (-€110M) together account for 77% of this sum.

OM is not left out with €12.7 million in losses but its deficit is reduced from year to year (-91.5 million in 2018/2019, -127 million in 2019/2020, -76.3 million in 2020/2021, -31 million in 2021/2022). In terms of good news, 8 elite clubs managed to report positively, including LOSC. Les Dogues concluded the previous season with €30 million in profits, ahead of Clermont (+€14.9 million), Lorient (+€8.1 million) and Lens (+€3.2 million). In Ligue 2, the total loss amounts to €8.5 million compared to €19.5 million a year previously.
