Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois spoke highly of his substitute Andriy Lunin.

The Belgian has been absent since the start of the season due to injury and his replacement has made up for it perfectly. Last week, in the quarterfinals of the Champions League against Manchester City, he was even the great architect of his team’s qualification. With numerous saves made during the match, as well as two shots on goal saved during the post-match session.
Courtois supports Lunin
Courtois did not fail to applaud his competitor at the end of this evening. And, this Tuesday, he just sent him a new compliment. When asked when he would be able to return to competition, he responded with great class: ” My return ? There is no emergency. Lunin behaves very well during my absence.”
Courtois has returned to team training for some time, but he is not yet fit to play again. It is therefore very unlikely that he will make a comeback on the pitch during the current campaign. He has even less desire to take risks since the last time he rushed his return he quickly relapsed.
