After a difficult 2022-23 season at Paris Saint-Germain, marked by injuries and disappointing performances, the Portuguese midfielder was loaned to AS Roma for this 2023-24 financial year. An inconclusive loan, with only 6 appearances, including 3 starts, since the start of the season.

Indeed, the Turkish press reports the interest of four clubs in Sanches. First of all, there are Besiktas, Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe, three SuperLig clubs (Turkish D1) which have expressed their desire to recruit the 26-year-old player. Added to this is Olympiakos, SuperLeague Ellada club (Greek D1), which would also be in the running.
