Inducted into the Premier League Hall of Fame, John Terry has finally been rewarded for his great career in England. Arriving at Chelsea in 2000 from Aston Villa, the former England international (78 caps) spent 17 years in London, before returning to Villa for one last dance. In total, Terry played 492 matches in the Premier League, including some under Jose Mourinho for six seasons. The Portuguese coach also sent a nice message to the former central defender.

“It had to be done and now it’s done. I think for your children it’s something really fantastic. For me, you are one of the players I had the privilege of coaching for six seasons. I am very happy and very proud. You deserve it, your career has been incredible and I am very proud of what you have accomplished., congratulated Mourinho. A moving message!
