This Monday is the twenty-sixth report of the season for the ranking of European top scorers. We find the scorers who shook the nets in Germany, England, Austria, Belgium, Scotland, Spain, France, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Russia, Switzerland, Turkey and Ukraine. And as since almost the start of the season, Harry Kane still comes out on top. The English striker brings his total to 33 goals in 30 matches following a new achievement against Union Berlin (5-1).
It will be difficult to catch up since he is 7 points ahead of his closest pursuer one month before the end of the season. This is Luuk de Jong who comes second with 26 goals in 30 matches. The Dutchman did not play this weekend and was unable to improve his statistics. Similar situation for Vangelis Pavlidis with AZ Alkmaar. The Greek striker did not play this weekend due to the Dutch Cup final and will have to wait to hope to shake the net again.
Gyökeres and Openda in ambush
In fourth position, we find the Guinean Serhou Guirassy. The former Rennais, who has 25 goals in 24 matches, was unable to be effective during his team’s 2-1 defeat against Werder Bremen (2-1). He remains placed ahead of Kevin Denkey and his 25 goals in 32 games. The Togolese who lost against Antwerp (1-0) with Cercle Bruges comes in fifth position. Preserved against Olympique Lyonnais (4-1) with Paris Saint-Germain, Kylian Mbappé is also not advancing. The French striker remains stuck at 24 goals in 26 matches.
Seeing double with Sporting CP against Vitoria Guimarães (3-0), Viktor Gyökeres remains in ambush thanks to his 24 goals in 29 matches. The Swede is slightly ahead of Lautaro Martinez who comes eighth with 23 goals in 28 matches and who plays this evening’s Milan derby against AC Milan. Ninth, Loïs Openda maintains her good momentum. The Belgian has 23 goals in 30 matches thanks to a new pawn against Heidenheim (2-1). Finally, Simon Banza comes in tenth position thanks to his 21 goals in 24 matches.
