This Monday is the twenty-fifth assessment of the season for the ranking of European top scorers. We find the scorers who shook the nets in Germany, England, Austria, Belgium, Scotland, Spain, France, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Russia, Switzerland, Turkey and Ukraine. As since the start of the season or almost, Harry Kane comes out on top. The English striker, however, did not score on Saturday against Cologne despite Bayern Munich’s victory (2-0) and remains stuck at 32 goals in 29 matches.

Just behind him, Luuk de Jong made a nice comeback and climbed to second place. In good form, the Dutch striker ends the season like a cannonball like his club PSV Eindhoven. Against Vitesse Arnhem (6-0), he scored a double and now brings his tally to 26 goals in 30 matches. Statistics similar to that of Vangelis Pavlidis. The Greek striker from AZ Alkmaar also made a splash this Saturday against RKC Waalwijk (3-2). A new pawn which allows him to be on the podium and maintain great consistency this season.

Loïs Openda goes back

Just behind, Serhou Guirassy is moving forward at a brisk pace. The Guinean with 25 goals in 23 matches scored again with Stuttgart against Eintracht Frankfurt (3-0) and continues his crazy season. He thus overtakes the Togolese Kevin Denkey who remained silent last weekend against Genk. Sixth and not having played this weekend with Paris Saint-Germain, Kylian Mbappé remains stuck with a very good record of 24 goals in 26 matches.

Seventh, Lautaro Martinez continues to stagnate. The Argentinian did not score yesterday against Cagliari (2-2) and still finds himself with 23 goals in 28 matches. A setback also for Viktor Gyökeres. Despite 22 goals in 27 matches, the Swede did not score Friday against Gil Vicente (4-0). Ninth, Loïs Openda continues her strong comeback. A new goal against Wolfsburg (3-0) moves him up one place with his 22 goals in 29 matches. He is ahead of Simon Banza who is tenth with 21 goals in 23 matches. The Congolese did not score on Saturday against Estoril with Braga (1-0).

Lawrence Shankland (Hearts of Midlothian) and Santiago Giménez (Feyenoord) fall just outside the top 10 with 21 goals while Edin Dzeko (Fenerbahçe) and Erling Haaland (Manchester City) come in behind with 20 goals. Ollie Watkins (Aston Villa) and Rafa Mujica (Arouca) follow with 19 goals. Just behind, we find Mauro Icardi (Galatasaray) with 18 goals.
