Continuation of the 33rd day of Serie A this Sunday afternoon. The Torino club welcomed the promoted Roman from Frosinone, on their pitch at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino. This meeting was an opportunity for the locals to begin accelerating in the race for Europe, while Ivan Jurić’s men hope to pocket a ticket for the C3 or C4. The first period was fairly split between the two Italian teams, although the pace was quite low despite a few opportunities on both sides.

In the second act, the Granata put their foot on the ball effectively but without ever creating clear chances. It is logical that the two teams parted with a tasteless draw (0-0). In the standings, Torino is letting precious points slip away in the Italian championship despite this solid 9th place, while Frosinone takes an important additional unit but remains in the red zone of Serie A with its 18th position. Next weekend, the Granata will travel to Lombardy to challenge leader Inter, while Leoni will host Salernitana for a crucial match in the maintenance mission, during the 34th Italian matchday.
