Alejandro Garnacho’s controversial likes

The Manchester United dressing room is exploding. Yesterday, against Bournemouth, the Red Devils could not do better than a draw (2-2) and the Champions League is moving away. Erik ten Hag’s choices are still being called into question, notably with the exit of Alejandro Garnacho during the match, when he was considered one of the best players on the pitch. After the match, the Dutch technician explained the 19-year-old’s exit, insinuating that Garnacho was not working hard enough.

Which did not please famous MU fan Mark Goldbridge. “Ten Hag subtly blamed Garnacho in the post-match press conference…not a good idea to throw a 19-year-old who has risen to the occasion this season under the bus. But once again, he is obviously afraid of upsetting the biggest salaries (…) Garnacho has been one of our best players this season. The first half was poor, but to bring him out at halftime and accuse him of being the problem is a joke. Many have done much worse week after week and are still there”, wrote Mark Goldbridge on X in two separate posts, both liked by the Argentine winger, not failing to cause controversy across the Channel. Since then, Garnacho has removed his likes.
