Real Madrid are set to have a very exciting summer transfer period.
Kylian Mbappé will arrive from Paris Saint-Germain as a free agent, and moves are also planned for Alphonso Davies and Leny Yoro. Endrick Felipe will finally sign his contract from Palmeiras, an arrangement which was concluded in 2022.
In Davies' case, Real Madrid have been monitoring his situation for much of the season. Personal terms have already been agreed and, for now, Los Blancos are biding their time, which explains the silence surrounding the situation.
Davies in addition to Mbappé?
This tranquility is nothing to worry about for Real Madrid supporters, as Fabrizio Romano told the Daily Briefing.
“The situation of Alphonso Davies remains very clear for Real Madrid. They are waiting for Davies to respond to Bayern's contract proposal, then Real Madrid's position is firm: they will not spend 60-70 million euros on a player who has one year left on his contract. “Real will insist on a fair price this summer or could wait until the summer of 2025, when he is free, but Real would prefer to buy him now at a good price, rather than waiting.”
