Without a Cole Palmer on the big nights, Chelsea relied on their winger Noni Madueke. The English international hopeful performed a nice solo number before lighting the Sheffield United goalkeeper to take the advantage (66th). The Blues thought they had done the hardest part, but that wasn't without taking into account the self-sacrifice of the Blades players. The Sheffield players managed to find their number 9 Oliver McBurnie for an equalizer in added time of the game (90th + 3). Even if the point of the draw still seems anecdotal for Sheffield United who still have a 9 point gap on the first non-relegation team, Chris Wilder's players will be able to be satisfied with a good game. For Chelsea, Europe is moving away again. Mauricio Pochettino's players remain five points behind Manchester United who are sixth.
