After a first half well controlled by the Reds, Liverpool could only take the point of the draw against Manchester United. A bad operation since Jürgen Klopp's men lost their first place to Arsenal. Even though both teams have the same number of points, the Gunners are at the top of the table thanks to a better goal difference. Despite this unprofitable result of the draw, the Liverpool coach did not seem disappointed.

“We should have won the match, that’s clear. This is the current situation, one point at Manchester United. I know how people see it, that those are two wasted points. I see this as an additional point. Everything is fine. The team that ultimately wins the championship must deserve it. We are in the race and that suits me completely” he told the English media at the end of the match. With one point difference between Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City, the three teams will have to battle until the end of the championship.
