Starting last night against Arsenal on the left wing, Serge Gnabry put in a great performance. Against his former team, he scored the opener in the 18th minute and always worked to recover balls and support his defense. Replaced by Raphaël Guerreiro in the 70th minute, the 28-year-old left the pitch after feeling muscle discomfort in the back of his thigh. His coach Thomas Tuchel confirmed it at the end of the match.

“Unfortunately Serge was injured, another hamstring injury on the left side. This doesn't look good for the second leg. It is of course very, very modest” he declared to the media after the match. A real blow for the Bavarians. This injury stops the German's progress although he has been making a good comeback in recent weeks. Bayern Munich will, however, be able to count on the return of Kingsley Coman on their wings. The Frenchman, who returned last week after two months of absence, played around twenty minutes yesterday in London.
