A fine player, Pierre Sage confided that he wanted Stade Brestois to qualify for the next Champions League.

Not spoiled with refereeing in recent weeks, the players and managers of Stade Brestois have the impression of ” to disturb “ with their good run in Ligue 1. Second in the standings, the Bretons are on track to qualify for the Champions League, and Eric Roy's troops are wondering if French football would not prefer to send another representative to C1.

On Pierre Sage’s side, it’s quite the opposite. The Olympique Lyonnais coach even paid a nice tribute to SB29. “I hope this team will qualify for the Champions League because it honors what football should be”declared Pierre Sage at a press conference, relays RMC. “If there is a team to go see play, I would recommend Brest”added the Lyon technician.

It is undoubtedly easier for Pierre Sage to make such a speech after the scenario of the last OL-Brest (4-3), which was favorable to Les Gones. But the Lyon coach is in love with the beautiful game, so we can believe in his sincerity.
