This Monday is the twenty-fourth assessment of the season for the ranking of European top scorers. We find the scorers who shook the nets in Germany, England, Austria, Belgium, Scotland, Spain, France, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Russia, Switzerland, Turkey and Ukraine. And like every week, Harry Kane is in the mix. The 30-year-old English striker has 32 goals in 28 matches with Bayern Munich this season and offered himself a new pawn on Saturday despite his team's fiasco against Heidenheim (3-2).

Just behind him, Vangelis Pavlidis comes in second position. The Greek striker from AZ Alkmaar suffered a heavy defeat against PSV Eindhoven (5-1), but his achievement allows him to score 25 goals in 29 Eredivisie matches. The podium is completed by Kevin Denkey who continues to shake the nets in Belgium. The Togolese from Cercle Bruges scored again yesterday against Union Saint-Gilloise (3-2) and brings his total to 25 goals in 30 matches.

Serhou Guirassy goes back

Heroic this season with VfB Stuttgart, Serhou Guirassy once again scored a goal, but this time in a crucial match in the fight for the Champions League against Borussia Dortmund (1-0). The Stuttgart striker has 24 goals in 22 matches with the Swabians. It's better than Kylian Mbappé preserved against Clermont (1-1). Entering the second half, he delivered an offering, but did not improve his record of 24 goals in 26 matches. Different situation for Luuk de Jong whose double against AZ Alkmaar now propels him to 24 goals in 29 matches.

Playing this evening against Udinese with Inter Milan, Lautaro Martinez has tumbled down the rankings. The Argentinian with 23 goals in 27 matches can however get back on track if he proves decisive against the Friuli club. Eighth, Viktor Gyökeres did not score in the Lisbon derby against Benfica (2-1). The Sporting CP player remains stuck at 22 goals in 26 matches. In ninth place, Simon Banza is back. The Congolese scored 21 goals in 22 matches with Braga including a double last Monday against Portimonense (5-3). On the other hand, things went less well this Saturday with a 3-0 defeat against Arouca. Finally, Loïs Openda comes tenth. The former RC Lens had fun against Friborg with a double which allowed him to peak at 21 goals in 28 matches.

Santiago Giménez (Feyenoord) comes eleventh with 21 goals while Lawrence Shankland (Hearts of Midlothian) follows in twelfth with 20 goals. Erling Haaland (Manchester City) and Edin Dzeko (Fenerbahçe) follow with 19 goals. Just behind, we find Rafa Mujica (Arouca), Mauro Icardi (Galatasaray) and Ollie Watkins (Aston Villa) with 18 goals. Mohamed Salah (Liverpool), Ayoub El-Kaabi (Olympiakos) and Mohamed Amoura (Union-Saint-Gilloise) have 17 goals.
