Continuation of the 31st day of Serie A this Sunday early evening. Atalanta traveled to Sardinia to challenge Cagliari, on the lawn of the Unipol Domus stadium. This meeting was very important for the locals who were hoping to achieve a big blow to continue their mission to remain in the Italian elite, while the visitors wanted to maintain good form in the race for Europe. Quickly, the match swung in favor of the Dea thanks to the opener from Gianluca Scamacca (13th). But shortly before the break, Tommaso Augello managed to equalize for Sardi (42nd). In the second half, Cagliari was rewarded for their domination with the winning goal from Nicolas Viola (88th). With this victory (2-1), Claudio Ranieri's players climb to 13th place, while Dea remains in 6th position.

In the other meeting of the evening, Hellas Verona, in great difficulty, hosted the Genoa club at home, on the lawn of the Marc Antonio Bentegodi stadium. While the Gialloblu managed to open the scoring quickly with Federico Bonnazzoli (8th), it was ultimately the Genoese who left with the victory. Indeed, in a balanced game, Alberto Gilardino's players were more realistic and more effective in front of goal. Before half-time, Caleb Ekuban managed to equalize (45th), before the tireless Albert Guðmundsson scored his 12th goal of the season, thus sealing the victory for his team (1-2). In the ranking, Genoa is in 12th place, while Verona is still in great danger with this 17th position.
