This is the subject of recent days in France. A few months before the Paris Olympic Games, Thierry Henry is racking his brains to compose his list. The time when the French began to dream of an XXL list now seems distant since the clubs will, as in 2021 in Tokyo, block their player since the Olympic tournament is not a FIFA date. This Wednesday, Florian Maurice, sporting director of Rennes, already explained that he did not intend to let his players leave this summer.

An announcement which was surprising to the FFF which had held a meeting last October to discuss this subject. In its newspaper, L'Équipe also explains that Toulouse and Montpellier have already confirmed that they will play the game and release the players called up for selection. This will also be the case for OL in this case. On the other hand, Nantes and Clermont explained that they had not yet decided. But the FFF can at least count on three first clubs.
