A fraud trial will begin on April 11 at the Bielefeld Regional Court. Marius Wolf will appear on the victims' bench. The 28-year-old German international will indeed be confronted with the words of the accused, Ümit A., a 41-year-old man from Bad Oeynhausen.

As reported BILD, Wolf was allegedly the victim of fraud between September 6, 2017 and March 7, 2019, during which he played for Hanover, then Frankfurt. The German newspaper specifies that the player would have suffered damage to the tune of 1.4 million euros, when at the time, Ümit A., had promised him the moon with certain fanciful financial investments.
