This meeting smelled like gunpowder between the two sworn enemies of the Italian capital. Major scuffles also took place on the sidelines of the kick-off of this 172nd Derby della Capitale. It was De Rossi’s men who won this very electric derby. In the standings, Roma still remains in a good position in the Italian championship with this solid 5th place, while Lazio continues to be in the race for European places with this 7th position in Serie A. Next weekend, the Giallorossi will will travel to Friuli to face Udinese, while the Laziali will host Salernitana, a team in great shape, during the 31st Italian matchday.
