Xavi is ready to continue with FC Barcelona. But, he wants transfer guarantees from the club's board before possibly considering reversing his decision to step aside. The one he took at the end of last January and which gave rise to a reawakening of the Catalan team.
As things stand, the Barça coach will leave his position at the end of the season. However, according to Sport, Xavi is waiting to know the position of vice-president Rafa Yuste, that of sporting director Deco and president Joan Laporta regarding his decision.

The board believes that the idea of keeping Xavi in charge of the team is the most realistic and beneficial for the well-being of the club. Both Yuste and Laporta have publicly stated their desire to keep Xavi.
But Xavi wants a project. He doesn't want to talk to four or five transfer targets and none arrive. He will not agree to speak in a vacuum and will want guarantees before reversing his decision to remain at the head of the team next season.
