Liverpool are preparing for their new era after the shock announcement of Jürgen Klopp's departure!

After several weeks of procrastination and rumors, Xabi Alonso announced this afternoon that he was going to stay at Bayer Leverkusen. The former midfielder was expected to return to Liverpool, to his former club, to replace Jürgen Klopp. The German coach reacted to this decision at a press conference.

“He’s doing an incredible job there. They have a great team and they will probably keep the team together. I understand why he wants to do that. As for the rest, I have nothing to say about it to be honest”he stressed to the English media.
