Joshua Kimmich is sounding the alarm!

Thomas Tuchel's men have certainly said goodbye to the title of German champion. Joshua Kimmich's partners are 13 points behind Bayer Leverkusen, still invincible and who won at the finish against Hoffenheim (2-1).

After the defeat, Joshua Kimmich did not mince his words. The German international is sounding the alarm and inviting his partners to wake up for the remaining matches, including those in the Champions League against Arsenal.

“I wonder how you can perform like that in a match like this. It's completely inexplicable to me, it's incomprehensible. In the second half, we had the feeling that there was nothing at stake. It was like we were playing a friendly match. We players should go home and question ourselves. If we play like this, it will be difficult next week against Heidenheim and of course also in the Champions League,” he said in comments reported by Sky Sport.

Champions League objective?

Barring a big surprise and a huge turnaround, Bayern Munich will lose their German champion title. The Munich title holders for 11 years will cede their throne to Bayer Leverkusen who are having an exceptional season.
