EdF Espoirs: huge blow for Bradley Barcola and PSG!

By: Manu Tournoux

Preparation for the Paris Olympic Games is intensifying for the France Espoirs team who faced the young people of Ivory Coast this Friday evening on the lawn of the Gaston-Petit stadium in Châteauroux. A friendly meeting which comes at just the right time for Thierry Henry and the Bleuets who now know their future opponents for the Olympic Games. Indeed, the draw, which took place at the start of the week, placed France in Group A of the Olympic Games along with the United States, New Zealand and a qualifier yet to be determined.

For this friendly match, the French coach decided to line up from the start a three-man offensive line made up of Elye Wahi, Désiré Doué and especially the Parisian, Bradley Barcola. Unfortunately for the former OL player, he had to give up his place shortly before the half-hour mark, injured in the left thigh. He was replaced by Wilson Odobert. This is terrible news for the Bleuets and Paris Saint-Germain. The Parisian player held his leg and seemed to grimace as he left the field.
