Harry Kane went into exile last summer at Bayern Munich after spending his entire career in England. To celebrate the Three Lions captain, a secret statue was erected in 2019 in honor of England's (62 goals) and Tottenham's (280 goals) all-time top scorer. Big Issue managed to obtain photos of the work. An 8,400 euro statue in very bad taste for which Waltham Forest Council, the district where Harry Kane was born, cannot find a host.

The statue has not yet found its home. Once thought to be installed in Chingford underground station, north London, the statue could not be placed due to safety standards. Daniel Levy, the president of Tottenham, would like to honor his former player with a statue, but he does not seem to like one to install it near his new stadium. Those close to the England striker hope a location can be found in the coming months.
