FC Barcelona aspires to keep João Félix, the Portuguese left winger on loan from Atlético Madrid without a purchase option. Deco, the club's sporting director, has clearly expressed his desire to negotiate a new deal with the Colchoneros for the player, whose value is estimated at 40 million euros on Transfermarkt.
However, Barça's dream clashes with financial reality. The Catalan club does not have the necessary means to finance a transfer of this scale. The reigning Spanish champion's preferred fallback solution would therefore be a new loan from João Félix.

Atlético Madrid is not in favor of this option. But the Spanish capital club are aware that the player will not be well received by their supporters if he returns.
