For a month now, we have known that Thomas Tuchel will not continue a new season with Bayern Munich during the next financial year. The German coach, who is paying for poor results in the Bundesliga (2nd, 10 points behind Bayer Leverkusen), will leave at the end of the season for new horizons. The Bavarian club is therefore working on the search for its future coach. According to German media, new sports director Max Eberl has already drawn up a list of priorities. While Sebastian Hoeness has just extended his contract with Stuttgart and Xabi Alonso is closer to signing with Liverpool, a return for Julian Nagelsmann seems possible. Max Eberl did not, in any case, rule out the idea.

“I think others have already said that you should never exclude anything in football. But it’s a theory for the future and it’s not a subject for discussion today.” he told the Bavarian media Abendzeitung. The Mannschaft coach is free in a few months and has not yet made his decision on his future with the German selection.
