Because the French champions do not only intend to strengthen in attack. The enormous savings made should indeed also allow PSG to strike a big blow in central defense and in the midfield.
Many names have been mentioned in recent weeks in midfield, including those of Bruno Guimaraes, Bernardo Silva and Joshua Kimmich. So many players likely to leave their club this summer. According to the German press, the Bayern Munich player, who will only have one year of contract remaining with the Bavarian giant, would have rejected all the extension offers submitted by its managers and would be determined to look elsewhere.
Five clubs interest Kimmich but not PSG
According to Sky Sport, Bayern Munich have resigned themselves to seeing their player leave and should not lack requests. The list of contenders is indeed impressive since almost all of Europe's elite dream of securing the services of Joshua Kimmich. But the latter would have already made a first selection. And bad news for PSG, the capital club does not seem to interest the former Leipzig player.
Joshua Kimmich would only consider leaving for five destinations in Europe: Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Liverpool, Manchester City and Arsenal. However, PSG is not the only club not to be favored by the native of Rottweil since Chelsea and Manchester United would not be part of his plans either.
