Newcomer to the Morocco selection, Brahim Diaz reacted to his call-up with a new remarkable performance with Real Madrid, solid leader of La Liga.

Brahim Diaz confirms his good run. The Real Madrid midfielder, 24, scored his ninth goal this season in all competitions on Saturday in Pamplona (including two in the Champions League), on the Osasuna field for a 4-2 victory for Carlo Ancelotti’s team.

This must delight Walid Regragui. The Morocco coach called Brahim Diaz while unveiling the list of 24 players three days earlier during two friendly matches: Angola (March 22) and Mauritania (March 26). Like Diaz, Monegasque Eliesse Ben Seghir (19) received his first call-up with the Atlas Lions on Wednesday.
