FA Cup, Bernardo Silva propels the Citizens into the last four!

Winner of Newcastle (2-0), Manchester City validated their ticket for the last four of the FA Cup. Pep Guardiola’s men are on a ten-game winning streak in this competition.

This Saturday evening, Manchester City hosted Newcastle on their lawn at the Etihad Stadium, for the quarter-finals of the FA Cup. Shortly before the quarter mark, the Citizens opened the scoring. Bernardo Silva beat Dubravka with a shot deflected by Willock’s leg (1-0, 13th).

The Portuguese international doubled the lead just after the half-hour mark. Very successful, the former Monegasque once again saw his left shot deflected, this time by Sven Botman. Helpless, the Magic goalkeeper found himself caught on the wrong foot (2-0, 31st).
