Absent for two matches, Alexandre Lacazette returns to the group for the match between Olympique Lyonnais and Toulouse.

There were few doubts, but it’s always better to have confirmation. Alexandre Lacazette figures well in the Olympique Lyonnais group for the trip to Toulouse, this Friday evening, to open the 26th day of Ligue 1.

Victim of a major crutch in his thigh, the OL captain had been absent for two matches. Les Gones will thus recover their top scorer (12 goals in Ligue 1), who scored a hat-trick in the first leg against TFC.

Benrahma absent, Lepenant returns

Without Lacazette, OL suffered against Lens (0-3), but managed to get by in Lorient (0-2), thanks to goals from Nicolas Tagliafico and Mama Baldé. The latter, with very limited playing time this season, should find a usual place on the bench.

As for those absent, in addition to Saïd Benrahma (thigh), Orel Mangala is still “too tight” to make his return, indicates Progrès. In defense, Pierre Sage did not call on Dejan Lovren, Sinaly Diomandé or Saël Kumbedi. Midfielder Paul Akouokou is also absent from the group, unlike Johann Lepenant, called up for the first time since his knee injury last October.

The probable composition of OL: Lopes – Maitland-Niles (or Mata), O’Brien, Caleta-Car, Tagliafico – Caqueret, Matic, Tolisso – Nuamah, Lacazette, Fofana (or Cherki).
