Which Germany against the Blues?

The Blues have a meeting with the Mannschaft on March 23 in Lyon. The German selection is already known.

Like Didier Deschamps, Julian Nagelsmann made public this Thursday the German group called to play the friendly match between France and the Mannschaft next Saturday March 23 at Groupama Stadium.

For the occasion, two veterans are returning to action: Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos and Bayern goalkeeper Manuel Neuer. No less than six rookies are also called up: Aleksandar Pavlovic (Bayern), Jan-Niklas Beste (Heidenheim), Maximilian Beier (Hoffenheim), Deniz Undav, Maximilian Mittelstädt and Waldemar Anton (Stuttgart).

Note the absences of two usual Mannschaft executives in this latest group: Munich midfielder Leon Goretzka and Dortmund defender Mats Hummels.

The German selection which will play against the Blues on March 23:
Goalkeepers: Manuel Neuer, Marc-André ter Stegen, Bernd Leno, Oliver Baumann.
Defenders: Joshua Kimmich, Benjamin Henrichs, Jonathan Tah, Robin Koch, Antonio Rüdiger, Waldemar Anton, David Raum, Maximilian Mittelstädt.
Midfield: Toni Kroos, Robert Andrich, Pascal Groß, Ilkay Gündogan, Florian Wirtz, Aleksandar. Pavlovic, Jamal Musiala, Thomas Müller, Chris Führich, Jan-Niklas Beste.
Forwards: Niclas Füllkrug, Deniz Undav, Kai Havertz, Maximilian Beier.
