It is this Thursday at 2 p.m. that Didier Deschamps, the coach of the France team, reveals his list of players selected for the preparation matches against Germany and Chile, three months before Euro 2024. The conference press release from the Blues coach is broadcast live.

Just three months before Euro 2024 in Germany, Didier Deschamps unveils his latest list before announcing his group of 23 players for the major continental competition. The France team faces Germany and Chile in preparation matches, respectively on Saturday 23 at Groupama Stadium (in the suburbs of Lyon) and Tuesday 26 March at the Stade Vélodrome in Marseille.

Four days before the gathering in Clairefontaine, “La Dèche” is giving a press conference this Thursday at 2 p.m. to communicate the names of its 23 players (there will also be 23 for the Euro and not 26). He will explain his choices to journalists. The FFF broadcasts this press conference live on its YouTube channel.

With Barcola?

There should only be one surprise this Thursday, with the possible call-up of Bradley Barcola, the PSG winger, due to the unavailability of Kingsley Coman at Bayern. The player trained at OL, however, plays in the U20s and is a member of Thierry Henry four months before the Paris 2024 Olympic Games… Ibrahima Konaté and Adrien Rabiot are injured but should be called up (possibly to be replaced next week).

The Blues will play two final preparation matches at the beginning of June, in Bordeaux and Metz (we do not yet know the precise dates or the opponents), before moving to Germany. The 2022 world vice-champions will begin against Austria (Monday June 17, 9 p.m.), before a shock against the Netherlands (Friday June 21, 9 p.m.), then a final match of the group stage against the winner of the dam A (Tuesday June 25, 6 p.m.).
