Luis Enrique, new change in sight for Mbappé

The Paris Saint-Germain coach should not line up his Barcola-Mbappé-Dembélé trio against Nice this Wednesday in the Coupe de France, and this would imply a change of position for Mbappé.

Between the reception of Reims (2-2) last Sunday and the trip to Montpellier next weekend, this quarter-final of the Coupe de France against OGC Nice appears to be the most important match of the week for Paris Saint -Germain. There is a trophy to be sought, in addition to the championship, where the capital club can afford to manage its lead.

Luis Enrique should line up what looks like his typical team, with the returns to the eleven of Gianluigi Donnarumma, Nuno Mendes or even Vitinha and Fabian Ruiz. But it is in attack that things should of course change the most, and it would therefore be very surprising to see Kylian Mbappé and Ousmane Dembélé starting again on the bench.

Return to the left for Mbappé

However, Luis Enrique could not line up what has been his favorite attacking trio for several weeks. Very fit in January and February, Bradley Barcola has been a little less bleeding in recent weeks. The former Lyonnais started against Reims, and this suggests that he could start on the bench against Nice. In any case, this is what Le Parisien and L’Equipe indicate in their probable compositions.

This would imply a change of position for Kylian Mbappé, who would return to his preferred left side. The center forward role should therefore be given to Randal Kolo Muani or Gonçalo Ramos.

The probable compositions:

PSG: Donnarumma – Hakimi, Danilo, Beraldo or Hernandez, Nuno Mendes – Zaire-Emery, Vitinha, Fabian Ruiz – Dembélé, Kolo Muani or Ramos, Mbappé.
Nice: Bulka – Todibo, Rosario, Dante – Lotomba, Boudaoui, Thuram, Bard – Guessand, Moffi, Boga
