The recruitment of the Colombian international from Liverpool, 27 years old and under contract with the Reds until 2027, however seems very complicated.
As indicated Mundo Deportivo, Blaugrana president Joan Laporta had dinner with Luis Diaz’s agent and the latter informed him that the Liverpool club had set the player’s starting price between 120 and 140 million euros! The Reds spent 47 million euros in January 2022 to recruit the will-o-the-wisp from FC Porto.
Barça has no money
The FCB, which will therefore change coach with the departure of Xavi and the possible taking over of Hansi Flick, will have little money to spend on the transfer market.
