TV rights for Ligue 1 for the period 2024-2029 are of interest to TF1.
The call for tenders from the Professional Football League for TV rights to Ligue 1 over the period 2024-2029 did not bear fruit last October. Since then, Vincent Labrune has been negotiating over-the-counter with potential interested broadcasters, including the DAZN platform and the beIN Sports group. But not only.
According to L’Equipe, TF1 is in advanced discussions with the LFP to obtain lot 4 of the rights for the L1 2024-2029, i.e. the license corresponding to the Sunday magazine. Currently, Amazon, via Prime Video, holds these rights – the first channel buying from it each week the images that it broadcasts in its Téléfoot show.

In addition to this package providing for the broadcast of summaries of elite matches on Sundays between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., TF1 could see further and position itself on the rights to a delayed match, through an acquisition under license, reports the sports daily aroused.
