FC Barcelona star Lamine Yamal can claim the title of best 16-year-old player of all time. What about his coming to PSG?

As the Blaugrana prepare to make some difficult financial decisions this summer, it would not be surprising if some major European clubs were interested in him. Last week, there was talk of a major offer from Paris Saint-Germain.

The Ile-de-France club would have indicated that it was ready to offer 200 million euros for the unlimited talent of Lamine Yamal, in order to test his determination. However, Matteo Moretto confirmed to Fabrizio Romano’s Daily Briefing that there are no offers on the table for Yamal, and none have been made, whether from PSG or not.

No offers for Yamal

Although some people within the French club like and are interested in Lamine Yamal, president Joan Laporta has made it clear that he has no intention of listening to offers for the Barca sensation, who is considered to be Leo Messi’s successor for the Blaugrana club.

FC Barcelona has reached an agreement with Lamine Yamal until 2026, the year he turns 18, when he intends to increase his salary again and extend his contract until 2030 with agent Jorge Mendes. This contract provides for a release clause of one billion euros. Some state-backed European clubs might wonder if the Blaugrana would be willing to solve their financial problems in one fell swoop…
