Aurélien Tchouameni is relegated to the Real Madrid bench for Celta de Vigo’s visit to the Bernabéu this Sunday afternoon.

Liga leader with a rather comfortable lead over Girona (which came back to four points by winning on Saturday), Real Madrid is playing without a few usual starters at the kick-off of the match against Celta de Vigo, this Sunday (6:30 p.m., in live on beIN Sports 1). The Merengues continue at the Bernabéu in the wake of their Champions League round of 16 second leg against Leipzig (1-1 draw for qualification).

In addition to a suspended Jude Bellingham, Dani Carvajal, Toni Kroos and Aurélien Tchouameni are thus sent to the sidelines. The French international can breathe a little while, after having been the captain of his team by being placed in the central hinge (in the absence of Antonio Rüdiger or Nacho), he was unconvincing in his position of number 6 against Leipzig on Wednesday.

Brahim Diaz in 10

In Madrid’s starting lineup, we find Lucas Vazquez and Ferland Mendy on the defensive sides, Eduardo Camavinga and Luka Modric in midfield, as well as Brahim Diaz and Rodrygo alongside Vinicius in the attacking trio.

Real should have possession of the ball in front of their home crowd against the Galicians only 17th in the standings (first relegated). Full-back Javier Manquillo, winger Jonathan Bamba and veteran striker Iago Aspas start the match.
