Beaten by Tottenham last week, Crystal Palace intended to return to success to move a little further away from the red zone. Opposed to Luton, the Eagles took the match at the end with great inspiration from Jean-Philippe Mateta.

From the 11th minute of play, the French striker took advantage of excellent work from Daniel Munoz on the right side to beat the opposing defenders with a splendid Madjer and thus open the scoring for the Eagles (1-0). With this achievement, the former Olympique Lyonnais and Mainz player recorded his 8th achievement of the season, in all competitions.
