Arsenal are doing well. On the 28th day of the Premier League, the English vice-champion defeated Brentford thanks to a goal from Kai Havertz on the wire (2-1) this Saturday. Without the German’s saving goal, the error made by Aaron Ramsdale before the break could have cost the Gunners dearly in the title race.

Established in place of David Raya for the first time since November 25, the English goalkeeper weighed down his team by taking too long to make his clearance and finally being blocked by Yoane Wissa, author of the equalizing goal. At the end of the match, however, his coach Mikel Arteta did not want to blame his player for this blunder. “Mistakes are part of football and it’s how you react to that. I’m so happy for Aaron (Ramsdale) and I’m so happy we won the game.”, the Spaniard told journalists. In the standings, Arsenal remains in contact with Manchester City and Liverpool, who face each other on Sunday at Anfield.
