Hard blow for Carlo Ancelotti. The Madrid provincial prosecutor’s office requires four years and nine months in prison for the Real Madrid coach for tax fraud according to Revelo. The Italian is accused of having defrauded more than a million euros from the Spanish tax authorities between 2014 and 2015, during his first stint on the Madrid bench.

The public prosecutor accuses the Italian of two offenses linked to the non-declaration in Spain of his image rights. Carlo Ancelotti is on trial from this Wednesday. Xabi Alonso was acquitted a few months ago in a similar case dating from the same time (2015).
